About our CEO and Founder

Shivani Devaiah Ganesh is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s renowned Management and Technology program, earning dual degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). During her time at Penn, Shivani gained hands-on experience through internships as a cybersecurity risk management intern and software engineer with the Cyber Future Foundation and Qualys, as well as through a dedicated software engineering role to sharpen her technical skills. These experiences deepened her understanding of cybersecurity and fueled her passion for creating impactful solutions in the field.

As the founder and CEO of 2goLearn.com, she conceptualized and created this online cybersecurity education service to help children her own age—children and young adults. Recognizing cyberbullying and irresponsible use of social media as significant issues for her generation, she wanted to help today's digitally minded youth globally by providing cybersecurity awareness education.

Shivani’s interest in cyberbullying, cybersecurity, and online safety began in elementary school following several personal incidents. Over the years, her interest grew, and by middle school, she was exploring the national and global impacts of these issues. During her freshman year of high school, she wrote and published a documentary regarding Data Privacy vs. Security. Later, she wrote her Junior Research paper on the impact of cybersecurity on national security, focusing specifically on the 2016 election process. This provided the impetus to hasten her efforts to start 2goLearn.com, a project she had been working on for over four years, to make a bigger impact on the digital world via cybersecurity education. The goal is to spread awareness of cybersecurity and educate kids and young adults globally to empower them to be safe online. She developed an online educational portal, 2goLearn.com, as well as designed a cloud-based Learning Management System.

As the CEO and founder, she has been able to meet many inspiring leaders and learn greatly from them. She was invited to speak at the Cyber Future Foundation by Shawn Tuma, its General Counsel and Founding Trustee, and world-renowned cybersecurity lawyer, to speak about online safety for kids. She was also invited by Senator Rick Santorum to meet with him and attend the Cyber Security Summit in Boston, MA, where she learned extensively about cybersecurity challenges and leadership. This experience was especially valuable coming from someone who ran for the United States presidential office in 2016.

Shivani is a proud alumna of The Hockaday School in Dallas, where she discovered her voice to express her passion for education and inspire others.
